Safe X3 Web Server
Loading a Safe X3 Web Server component
To load the Web component, activate the selection panel Web Servers SAFE X3 Web Server and click Add.
For more information on the component loading dialog box, see the documentation on Parameters entry component.
The Console recovers the various Web parameters and loads the component. The parameters display in the right-hand part of the page.
The status of the component is Idle. Once configured, this value changes to Active.
Configuration
To launch the actual configuration of the Web presentation server component, click Configure.
Once the configuration is done, the component status is Active and the 'Adonix_web_Default' service is created and launched.
The Web server is configured. You have to publish the solution.
Solution publication
Configure the Apache server of the application server
The pre-requisite to a solution publication is the configuration of the Apache server of the solution. In order to configure the Apache server of the application server, follow these steps:
1. Enter the ‘Apache installation path’ setup located on the application server in the solution management.
2. Click Web publication to launch the HTTP server configuration of the Web publication.
If no value is proposed, there is no need to continue with the publication. It is absolutely necessary to resolve the problem linked to the installation of Apache on the server.
It is possible to check the configuration of the HTTP server by launching Internet Explorer then the following URL: http://[nomduserveur]/[AliasDeLaSolution]/DOSB/GEN/FRA/FENW/FUSER.xml.
Note: the publication alias has the following syntax: 'Adonix_NameOfTheSolution'. Match case.
Solution publication
In order to publish the solution, follow these steps:
1. Select the Publications tab of the Safe X3 Web Server component .
2. Click Add and select the name of the solution to be published.
Update
To update the Safe X3 Web Server, follow the steps described below:
1. Stop the services of the Safe X3 Web Server via the console in the server Administration tab.
2. Install the update (see the installation procedures for further information) in order to replace your version with the new one.
3. Refresh the configuration screen of your Safe X3 Web Server in the console. The update should automatically be detected by the console.
4. Click Configure to complete the update.
5. Check that the services have been correctly restarted after the configuration.
