Common data > Manufacturing tables > Indirect reference

Indirect references are tracking codes used throughout Shop floor tracking. This function stores information about the codes and reference types used during Indirect and Break tasks. The Reference type controls activity and reports, but does not impact processing or posting in Sage X3. They serve as a convenience for reporting.

If the Run during employee break check box is selected Work centers, the machine work center remains running while an employee is on break or on an exclusive indirect task. This only applies to Machine work center types.
