Within the framework of the management of service contracts in the Customer Support module, it is possible to define specific coverages by product code.

From the first tab, it is possible to define the coverage planned for a given installed base, even for the components of an after-sales BOM. Moreover financial coverage rules can be defined concerning the taking into account or not of the overhead expenses, labor costs or spare parts costs.

This column is used to define the list of equipment located a the customer benefiting from the coverage under the terms of the contract.

This function is only accessible if the "All the base" option in the service contract is not checked. In addition, this function is not applied to contracts with points.

This column is used to define the coverage according to the three identification methods for the different customer bases :

Coverage according to the installed base

This type of coverage is used to define the contract coverage, base record by base record. The selection is made from the list of the specific equipment base for the customer.

Coverage according to product reference

This type of coverage is used to cover from a single entry line all the customer equipment/product base sharing the same product reference.

Coverage according to commercial group

This coverage type is used to cover from a single entry line all the customer equipment/product base sharing the same product group.

  • Chrono / code (field CONMACCOD)

This column is used to enter the list of coverages for the customer base on the contract.

If the coverage type is "According to customer base", the identifier must be composed of a base record.

If the coverage type is "According to product reference", the identifier must be composed of a product record.

If the coverage type is "According to commercial group", the identifier must be composed of a commercial group for the product.

  • Description (field MACDES)

 

  • Serial number (field SERNUM)

 

  • Authorized loan (field LNDAUZ)

The column Authorized loan is used to specify whether the customer can benefit from a replacement machine during the repair period.

This field is managed only for information purposes.

Component identification

  • field ICDFLGX

This option is used to minimize the volume entered related to the description of the component coverages.

This option is initialized by default with the value of the template used or else with the value of the setup.

  • Include/exclude (field CNNICDFLG)

This field is used to complete the coverage rules related to the components in the selected customer base.

If the "Exclude the non listed components" option is selected, it is always suggested by default to include

the components.

If the "Include the non listed components" option is selected, it is always suggested by default to exclude

the components.

This field is used to indicate the product reference for the component.

This reference must be obtained either from the product catalogue in its totality or from

the after-sales BOM of the selected customer base.
