Setup > Destinations > Default values

When launching a print from an X3 function, it can be interesting to propose default values to the launch setups.

This function is used to store values by default for the print setups as a function of the launch context (identified by a function code). A print means printing a Crystal Reportsreport , launching a request, an SQL query, or an export.

Presentation

When a record is selected for update, a list of setups with associated values can be found, associated with the function and printing code.

Upon creation of a new record, the setup grid is loaded with the list of setups defined for the chosen print.

In all cases, it is possible to:

  • enter the calculated expressions depending on the context in order to assign the setup values.
  • delete the setup lines if it is requested that the said setups are not assigned by the function.
  • enter the setups in a grid (in order to complete the list of those already entered).

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

Define the function code corresponding to the context for the launch of the print.

  • Print type (field TYPCOD)

Grid

  • Parameter (field PARDES)

Define the parameter code to be entered.

  • First default (field VALDEF1)

Entered here is the value for the parameter, in the form of a calculated expression that uses the variables linked to the launch context. If the parameter is a start/end range - two values must be entered.
