Common data > Common tables > Geographic subdivisions

This function is used to define by country and by geographic subdivision level the codes that allow the subdivisions of a level to be identified.

For instance for France, the first subdivision is used to define all the regional codes and the second subdivision is used to define all the department-related codes.

Subdivisions are namely used in the Business Intelligence module in order to conduct analyses by geographic dimension type.
