  • 1 to 3 fields among the following can be updated on the assets stemming from the split: Description 1, Description 2, Accountinggroup, Accounting code, Free fields 1 to 10. The update will be carried out using the value specified in the table of the distributions.

Tab Distributions

Presentation

This tab contains the table used to enter the distributions of the original assets on the assets stemming from the split.
On each line it is necessary to enter or select a value of the column selected as ditribution code in the first column and then:

  • to specify the percentage to apply to the values of the asset to split in order to constitute and valuate a new asset,
  • to enter the value each column selected to be updated on the assets stemming from the split will display.

Various lines can be created for the same value, provided that the total of the distribution percentages is inferior or equal to 100. There will be as much assets created as lines entered.

For instance:
If the CoA account column is chosen as Distribution key and the Description 1 and Group columns are selected to be updated,

the distribution table is set up as follows:

  • Distribution % (field BRDPRC)

This column enables entering, for each value of the distribution key, the percentage to apply to the values of the asset to explode in order to constitute and value a new asset.
