Setup > Manufacturing > Time table schemas

Use this function to define a working pattern, also known as a shift pattern, for a single (unspecified) day of the week.

The time table schema uses the 24 hour clock. Use it to define the actual start time and actual end time of a working day or shift. Within the start and end time you can define breaks in the shift such as lunch breaks, shift change times and incidents that regularly affect a working day such as machine downtime.

Each schema can be attributed, as required, to multiple days of a working week. The individual weekly working patterns are defined in the Weekly structures function (GESTWD).

Use this section to assign a code to, and a description of, the schema. You should consider its purpose and name the schema accordingly as it can be attributed, as required, to multiple days of a working week. For example, a common manufacturing working pattern is to work four days and to have 3 days off. A suitable schema code for this scenario might be 4ON3OFF.
