Introduction to profit-sharing

Basic principles

The objective of the profit-sharing module is to calculate profit-sharing distribution between employees according to the legal framework and agreements of the company.

This distribution can be made according to three types of criteria:

  • in proportion to salary
  • based on the presence
  • or evenly.

The parameters must be first created via the Parameters menu:

  • Bases: use this parameter to define the calculation bases for each criterion
  • Funds: use this parameter to define the destination funds where profit-sharing will be managed
  • Contributions: use this parameter to define the contributions that will be deducted from the distributed amounts
  • Distribution methods: use this parameter to define profit-sharing proportions, calculated according to each of the criteria selected (one or several criteria).

Individual bases will then need to be calculated, i.e. the calculation bases for each employee, corresponding to each of the criteria.

Once you have defined the parameters, you can launch the calculation to determine the distribution. This calculation will be made for the fiscal year and per company according to the distribution method that has been set up. The result of the calculation will then be displayed in the Individual distribution function.
