Re-open fiscal year - Implementation
Prerequisites
- In order to be able to delete the journal entries generated by the closure process must be validated in accounting (the process does not take into account the entries pending validation). The utility is used to delete the closure and simulation journal entries (see the FIY activity code) if they are generated with a "Provisional" status ( see the automatic journals FIYCL, FIYEN, and FIYRE).
- The accounting task must be started.
- Following this process it will be necessary to manually return the sequence number counters to their original value (see the "Sequence number counter value" documentation) and if the accounting setup FRWGAC is set to "Yes", it will be necessary to relaunch the reconstruction of the simulations.
- The FRADGI setup must be set to "No" when the fiscal year is re-opening.
If the value of the setup is set to 'Yes', the fiscal year opening cannot be launched.
