If this check box is selected, the generated program associated with the main class will manage the 'Update' operation on the corresponding child class. If cleared, the development partner must write the code for reading the data from the main table in the corresponding "AUPDATE" event.

This check box can be accessed only if the Management by class check box is cleared.
