Field help (APASCAR)

The characters admitted for a password are the following:

• all the uppercase and lowercase alphabetical characters,
• the numbers,
• the punctuation and miscellaneous characters such as the comma, the period, the semicolon, the question mark, the exclamation mark, the parentheses, brackets, braces, the dash, the blank, the underscore, the plus, the slash and the backslash, the asterisk, the dollar, the pound, etc.
• the accented characters whose ascii code is less than 255.

The prohibited characters are the characters whose unicode code is greater than 255: it is for instance the case of the character which represents the euro (€).

Please note that these rules apply to all the passwords managed by the platform (including the database password which is entered in the console and stored in an encrypted way so that the engine can connect to the base).
