This field is used to store a unique key for the record. This key is calculated by the CCN sequence number counter. By default, this counter is made up of a sequence number made up of 15 characters. This sequence number counter is shipped by default with an automatic functioning. To ensure the correct functioning of the Contact object, it is strongly advised to conserve these standard characteristics. Different to other objects that make up the Commercial action module, this field is accessible to the user. This possibility is offered to the user with the goal of allowing them to use the search function for a contact. Independently of this characteristic, it is strongly advised not to define the Contact keys manually. This work must be carried out by the sequence number counter in an automatic fashion. Search for a contact : Because of the potentially large number of contacts in a commercial database, the use of a rapid and ergonomic tool to access a record is indispensable. Thus the "Chrono" field offers this type of functionality by means of the contextual menu "Contact search". The following searches are possible : 1/ Search on each word start that makes up the surname of a contact. 2/ Search on each word start that makes up the first name of a contact. 3 / Search cumulated on each word start composing a contacts surname and on each component word on a contact first name. The bottom of the search screen displays the results of each search after each tabulation either on the Surname field or on the First name field. A click on the "Select" button closes the window and enters the key of the selected contact in the Chrono field. A tabulation on the "Chrono" field is used to display the Contact record that was searched for.
