It can be decided to authorize the budget element entry on an analytical nature (active "budgetable" flag).

The nature type determines the position of the posting balance in the "expenses" or "products" column of certain reports or inquiry screens, as the "investment" natures are assimilated to expenses.

The natures can also be distinguished by the permanent or variable, direct or indirect character of the elements they save (for eg: The expense made up by the rent for the Nature "Production" is a permanent cost but indirect). These categories are used to establish selection criteria for the reports (print reports by categories).
