This field is entered only if, following the account posting change, the plan has been subject to a method change that must be taken into account (active Process flag on the Setup tab). It is loaded either with the rate entered in setup, or with the initial rate of the asset if the asset is in error or if no rate modification has been requested on the Setup tab. It can still be modified. The right click option Recalculate by application is available when the depreciation rate is entered by the user. Activating this option makes it possible to cancel the entry and to reset this field to zero. In this case, the rate is automatically recalculated and loaded by the application.
