Field help (FANTOME)
The phantom products are used to facilitate the creation of BOMs (Bills of material). They serve to group groups of components that are not stored, but make up part of the composition of several finished product. If they are the object of an operational stage, this latter must be part of the routing of the product using the phantom, because is it will neither be released to production nor reserved on release of the product. In fact, the production release "passes over" the phantom: there is a direct reservation of these components for the production of the finished product. The calculation of the net requirements issues no production suggestion for the phantoms.
