Field help (GCM1LED)

Code of the ledger that contains the management characteristics of the current ledger type. In the case of an automatic ledger, the ledger code is the code of the source ledger type.

The ledger accounting characteristics are as follows :

• the accounting type(s) managed (general and analytical),
• the chart of accounts used,
• the analytical dimension types managed: up to nine dimension types for one given ledger with a maximum of 20 dimension types for the model,
• the balance, end-of-year and matching rules.

The ledger is not mandatory in the account core model.Therefore, a ledger type is used only if it points to a ledger code.
