Field help (MDL_SOH)

Delivery mode. Code used to define the information related to the transport and delivery. It is managed in the Delivery Method table. It is initialized from the ship-to customer.

This information is initialised by the customer delivery address. It describes the manner in which the goods will be sent to the customer (this information is used notably in the Intrastat exchange of goods declaration). It is transferred to the order line where it can be modified if the shipment method for the order is not set to Complete order.

If this information is modified and order lines already exist, the system will propose to the user to copy this modification to the order lines.

Special features linked to the inter-company option:In the case of an inter-company or inter-site order generated from a purchase order, the shipment method will be initialised by the shipment method entered in the purchase order if the shipment methods is not entered in the ship-to customer.
