The mandatory field Address code is used to specify a payment address code.

If the BP is specified, the field will be initialized from the address code that has been set up:

in the supplier or customer record if the BP is only supplier or customer,
if the BP is both customer and supplier: in the customer record if the transaction is of type 'revenue" and in the supplier record if the transaction is of 'expense' type.

If the BP is not mentioned, the field will be initialized using the address code set up in the "Address" tab of the account record when the payment is entered on a general account.

This address will be used to initialize field Bank ID number when it is present in a transaction.
If the payment transaction is of 'Unspecified' type, the address code is not initialized.

In the specific case of SDD, after selecting the Mandate reference, the address code associated with the selected mandate is displayed but cannot be modified.
