The products with a high turnover are placed in a location made easier for stock issue. The picking location is managed with a reorder threshold: a special reorder function is used to extract the list of picking locations about to be in shortage and requiring a transfer from the mass stock. The picking location must be contained in the location file, as a single-product dedicated type. The assignment of the product to the dedicated location is automatically performed via the picking location entry. The picking location can also be used as a priority storage place upon receipt, depending on the location parameter suggested upon stock transaction launching. The picking location can also be used as a picking location upon order or shipment allocation depending on the pegging flag.
