A workbench is uniquely identified with the help of a reference composed of a maximum of 20 alphanumerical characters.
The management of this reference depends on the value of parameter PPLAUTNUM - Production workbenchnumbering of chapter AAS - Assets.

This reference must be entered if automatic numbering is not managed (the parameter has value None).
It cannot be entered if the parameter has value: Mandatory. This reference will be automatically assigned when validating the creation.
It can be entered if the automatic numbering is Optional. Otherwise, it will be automatically assigned.

The reference assigned to the workbench depends on the setup of the sequence number counter assigned to the Production workbench reference field in the Asset module. (Sequence number counter Structure and Sequence number counter assignment functions).
