Management in Entry

Field specifying the movement sign.
This field can take three different values:

• Revenue (affects the debtor balance of the statement),
• Expense (affects the creditor balance of the statement),
• Unspecified (in this case, the debtor/creditor balances of the statement are not affected).

If a remittance slip is defined, the field cannot be entered and the sign corresponds to the sign of the payment transaction associated with the slip.
If no remittance slip is defined, the sign determines the sign of the payment transaction which will be used to generate the payment.

Management in Import

If the sign of recording 21 in the CODA statement is equal to 0, the movement sign is creditor.  
The sign of the statement line takes the value "Expense".

If the sign of recording 21 in the CODA statement is equal to 1, the movement sign is debtor.
The sign of the statement line is thus "Revenue".
