The transport method by which the goods are presumed to leave their national territory on shipment (export) or to have arrived in on receipt (import). This information is used in the Customs document file.

The transport method is initialized to the transport method defined on the customer's delivery address. When transforming a document, the transport location is passed on to the child document. For orders, the transport method is defined for each line based on the delivery addresses of each line If lines are delivered independently, the transport method will be picked up from each line. Should they be regrouped on the same delivery, the transport method of the first line being considered will be picked up.
