Field help (STDCRI)
This screen is used to enter the information necessary to modify the values of one or several fields in a table. Those fields having the entry type "Enter" can be modified. The key fields cannot be modified. Some important fields can be displayed for information purposes. Validating this parameterization leads to the generatrion of an entry grid. This grid will be populated by the first records. It will then be possible to modify the accessible information. The "Next" and "Previous" buttons allow other records to be searched. It is possible to enter the key values to find a record and if necessary modify it. Warning : The information that will be entered in this page corrresponds to the fields defined in the table dictionary. There is no control of the entry and it is necessary to take certain precautions (respect of upper and lower case, spaces ...). It is better to use the key TAB to check for the existence of a field in preference to the ENTER key that could create a record by error. For this same reason, it is preferable to use the selection function to search for a record. Finally, there is no lock management and a record can be modified when it is already being processed in another session.
