The shipment site is initialised with the site associated with the ship-to customer or possibly the default warehouse site for the user (if it belongs to the same company as the sales site) and is modifiable under certain conditions : The site entered must be declared as a warehouse, it must belong to the same legal company as the sales site. It serves as the default value for the order lines. In the case of orders with Complete shipment, the shipment site is not modifiable in the order lines.

If the shipping site is modifiable and the order lines exist, the system will propose to the user to modify the shipping site for all the lines in the order (only the non-allocated, non shipped order lines will be modified).

Special features linked to the inter-company option:In the case of an inter-company or inter-site order generated from a purchase order, the shipment site will be initialised by the shipment site entered in the purchase order. It can be modified to manage any changes in the shipments. However the original purchase order will not be updated for this modification.
