Field help (TSDFRE)

These fields represent from one to five freight thresholds related to this carrier.

The values define exemption thresholds for freight charges, as expressed in the carrier's currency. On the Customer's Freight Invoicing field, you may indicate the threshold that must be applied, and freight will only be invoiced if the amount of the customer's shipment is less than the specified threshold. In other words, the customer will be given "free freight" if he orders (and has shipped) an order over a threshold value.

Free freight theoretically serves as an incentive for a customer to order more, or to consolidate multiple orders into one order.
