Number of materials
This activity code is used to define the maximum number of component lines that can be added to a single work order.
Recommended values
Sage recommends that when sizing this activity code that you consider the both average number of released products that are added to a work order and the average number of components in a bill of materials (BOM), then increase the calculated figure slightly. Performance can deteriorate if this value is too high.
The CUMMAT - Material accumulation mode parameter (GPA chapter, WOM group) can affect the numbers of components on a work order.
