Non-conformance
This activity code is used to activate the Non-conformance functionality.
Non-conformance provides a quality management process for reacting to incidents to ensure that appropriate corrective or preventive actions are taken. Non-conformance management can help:
- Track incidents and events (nonconformities) through the cycle of root cause identification and corrective actions;
- Address weaknesses, or the potential for a nonconformity to occur in a system, through the cycle of root cause identification and preventive actions;
- Ensure that disruption to services is kept to a minimum;
- Ensure that resources are used efficiently.
