Intermediate commits closing
Use this parameter to enable intermediate commits during a period or fiscal year end closing for fixed assets. This is useful when closing large volumes of assets. The number of records processed by each commit is defined by the INTCOMCLON - Number of assets per commit parameter (AAS chapter, PRF group), which has a default value of 1000.
No: This is the default value for the parameter to avoid any behavior changes when updating Sage X3. All checks and updates are performed in a single database commit.
Yes: This enables intermediate database commits during the closing process. When the process is complete, number of assets per commit displays in a log file.
Note:
This parameter should only be used when addressing performance issues on the fixed assets closing running on SQL Server solutions.
