Physical asset numbering
This parameter is used during the creation of a physical asset, whether by direct creation or by automatic creation and attachment upon the creation of an accounting asset.
Upon creation, its reference may be allocated automatically if this parameter specifies it:
None
The automatic numbering is not activated. The reference must then be entered by the user and the user only.
You cannot duplicate a physical asset if you select this option.
Optional
The reference can be entered. If it has not been entered, it is automatically allocated when validating the physical asset creation.
Mandatory
The reference cannot be entered. It is automatically allocated when validating the physical asset creation.
When it is automatically allocated, the reference is based on the setup of the sequence number linked to the document of the Physical asset reference type (Sequence numbers and Sequence number assignment functions.)
Level of localization/Global variable
This parameter is defined at the level Company.It belongs to Chapter AAS (Fixed assets) and the Group PHY (Physical elements),The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

Comments
- If this parameter is set to 'None', the parameter PHYAUTCRE - Automatic creation of assets automatically takes the value 'No'.
Conversely:
- If the parameter PHYAUTCRE - Automatic creation of assets has the value 'Yes', the automatic numbering is 'Mandatory'.
