When a report printing is launched from an X3 function, it can be interesting to propose default values to the print launch parameters. This function is therefore used to store the default values for the report parameters and this is by launch function.

Presentation

The entry of the default values is made in a grid, by function and by report. A link is made between each parameter and a value or 2 values when it is a value range. A value can be assigned to a constant, a variable available in the context or a function.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

Define the function code corresponding to the context for the launch of the print.

  • Print type (field TYPCOD)

Define the print type used. As a function of this type, it is possible to select the different codes in the following fields.

  • field ETAT

Used to enter the code for a print, that is to say, according to the value entered in the previous field, a Crystal Reportsreport , an import-export template, a request, or a SQL request.

  • field DESETA

Title associated to the previous code.

Table

  • Parameter (field PARDES)

Define the parameter code to be entered.

  • First default (field VALDEF1)

Entered here is the value for the parameter, in the form of a calculated expression that uses the variables linked to the launch context. If the parameter is a start/end range - two values must be entered.

  • Last default (field VALDEF2)

This button is used to copy these default values to another folder.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Non-existent parameter code

The parameter must be defined in the report dictionary. In addition, it must be enterable.

Non existent Reportfolder

An attempt has been made to copy this record to another folder in which the report does not exist.
