This function is used to search, in the dictionary table, all the places where the text in question is used (table titles, fields, blocks....) in the current language.

Screen management

The entry is carried out on a single tab.

Presentation

The text in question is entered. If this text does not exist in the translatable text table of the dictionary (ATEXTE), an error message is displayed. If several identical messages exist, a window opens, in order to allow the user to choose the precise sense. This is the case for example of a term like State, that can be taken in the sense of a Country or subdivision of a country, or of the status.

The search is then made in the different dictionary tables (all those using the translatable texts of the ATX type). A detailed log gives the places where the text is question has been found.
