This document describes the minimum configuration requirements when installing the Software package application and data servers on an IBM-RISC/6000 AIX 7.1 - Oracle 12c server.

- Beyond this number, plan to use 2 additional POWER6 4.2GHz Dual Core processorss (or equivalent) to manage up to 250 to 300 users simultaneously in mono-tier architecture.

| RAM memory | - 1.5 GB for the OS + 2 to 6 GB per database instance + 80 MB per connected user.

| Miscellaneous | - Check that the X-windows components are correctly installed from the Unix server Graphical console: xclock (a clock should be displayed on the console).
WARNING: The correct functioning of the Graphical console is mandatory to proceed with the installation of Oracle 12c on the UNIX server.

| Disk space | - For Oracle 12c: 5.5 GB.
- For Sage X3 People (reference folder and software): 4 GB.
- For the demo folder: 4 GB.
- For the exploitation folder: depends on the data managed. A sizing tool is available to calculate size requirements.

| Database software | - Oracle 12c (64-bit) Version 12.1.0.
- It is necessary to set up a listener.
- If the database is not located on the application server (remote or disconnected database), it is necessary to install the client part of Oracle 12c on the application server.
- The user accounts of the dba group as well as the user used to start the SAFE X3 ADXADMIN administration runtime (root usually) must have the following limits at Unlimited level:
- fsize = -1
- core = -1
- cpu = -1
- data = -1
- stack = -1
- rss = -1
- nofiles = -1
- core_hard = -1
- cpu_hard = -1
- data_hard = -1
- fsize_hard = -1

| Mail server | - The workflow engine used in Classic mode requires a SMTP/POP3 server accessible from the server.

| Publication server | - An Apache server 2.2.25 must be installed on the application server.
|
| Others | - A SAFE X3 ADXADMIN administration runtime must be installed on the server.
- A JDK or Java Runtime Environment (version 7 or later) must be installed.
