This screen is used to update in batch the storing addresses linked to the locations of a store.                                                                   

This function is mandatory after modifying the store table so that the change on the storage address structure for the store table is operational.

Using the screen

Step 1: It is mandatory to enter the store for which you want to reorganize.

Step 2: Address selection
The entered store address structure is displayed (store table).
The data possible to enter are the following:

  • Start: Start date to modify.
  • End: End date to modify.
  • Increment: Increment used to go from the current value of an element to the next value to process.
  • Actual storage: This field displays the storage structure created before in the store table.
  • New storage: New storage structure to apply. The value is between 1 and 5, corresponding to the 5 lines of the address structure (aisle 1, level 2, row 3, other 4, other 5).

After modifying and posting by clicking the button, the modification will be performed and a report will be displayed.

Note: the storage address can be modified for a part of the store. That is why the storage structure is not updated in the stores.

Store field error, mandatory field

Specifying the store is mandatory.

Store error, record does not exist.

An attempt has been made to enter a store unknown.

End field error, The range is lower than the start range.

The range must be greater or equal to the start range. The format must be the one defined in the store record.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

Code used to identify the store. This code is controlled in the store table.

Grid Addresses

  • Description (field ADDDES)

 

  • Start (field ADDSTR)

Field used to specify the start address for each address component.

  • End (field ADDEND)

Field used to specify the end address for each

component address.

  • Increment (field ADDSTE)

Field used to specify the step to take to move from

the current value of an element to the next value to be handled.

  • Actual storage (field SRGORN)

 

  • New storage (field SRGORN0)

New storage structure that shoule be applied. The value should be comprised between 1 and 5, thus corresponding to the 5 lines of the address structure (Aisle 1, Level 2, Row 3, other 4, other 5).

The only error messages are the generic ones.
