An Adonix licence is characterised by a licence file including the detailed characteristics of the user, also the number of simultaneous sessions (of different types) managed by the engine, as well as the functional limits (corresponding to the licence extensions). Each licence is in addition identified by a unique number, and possibly validity dates (in the absence of date, the licence is valid ad vitam aeternam).

In addition, two texts, one identifying the integration partner, and the other the customer to whom the licence is assigned, are also present in this licence file, situated in the Adonix X3 run-time directory.

A change in the licence (extension to the user numbers, for example) is made by a simple change in the licence file.

Screen management

A single tab is displayed on entry into this function.

Entry screen

Presentation

The use of this function makes it possible to view the contents of the licence file, from a default path (modifiable).

The information displayed is presented in the rest of the screen. It concerns:

* the licence number and the start and end dates for the licence (if relevant)

* the number of users by connection type Within this are identified the primary sessions, the secondary sessions, number of simultaneous batch tasks (the batch server consumes one, the number of simultaneous tasks likely to function is this number reduced by 1), the number of sessions linked to Adonix API.

* the numbers corresponding to the functional limits (these options depend on the software used : in Adonix X3, for example, an IAS option equal to 0 or 1 is found, but also the number of simultaneous configurator workstations)

* two texts (customer and distributor texts) of 4 lines of 40 characters, identifying the installer and the customer to whom the licence is assigned. A text of the type DEMONSTRATION LICENCE signifies that the licence is only assigned for the purposes of demonstration and in no case can be destined for real use even temporary.
