However, compared to the "unitary transfer" function in CS, the RF function contains the following restrictions:
Operation principle:
The operator goes to the location where the stock object to transfer is to be found.
Available option: depending on the setup at site level, the system can automatically validate the stock object removal and propose to carry out the repositioning. If the user accepts, the system launches the repositioning process via the "transfer validation" function. If the user refuses, the operator will have to manually enter this function to carry out the repositioning.
Refer to documentation Implementation
The sequencing of the tabs based on the keys used is the following:
Tab | OK | Addr | End |
Origin | Stock nature | | Menu |
Stock nature | Destination | Destination (*1) | Menu |
Destination | Origin (*2) or | Destination (*1) | Menu |
(*1) the destination location is automatically entered by the system (optimum location)
(*2) if the removal is not automatically validated (depending on the site setup), if the removal is automatically validated and if the operator refuses to carry out the repositioning right away.
(*3) if the removal is automatically validated and if the operator accepts to perform the repositioning straight away.
The user has to indicate the original location, the stock object to be transferred.
Original location:
- mandatory field
Product:
- non enterable field, it is automatically entered depending on the selected stock object.
Stock object:
- mandatory field
- button "Sel" proposes stock objects available for a transfer.
The operator has to indicate the transfer movement code, the transfer type, the new stock nature and the new SO reservation number after transfer.
Movement code:
- mandatory field loaded by default with the value specified at site level (RFT procedures tab).
- enter a movement code of type "Transfer".
Transfer type:
- mandatory field.
- indicate the transfer type to be carried out: Standard, Merging with accrual or Merging without accrual.
Reservation number:
- optional field.
- enter a reservation number to change the characteristics on the SO.
Stock nature:
- optional field.
- enter a stock nature to change this data on the SO.
The "OK" button is used to go to tab "Destination" in order to enter the destination location.
The "Addr" button is used by the system to propose an optimum destination location in tab "Destination". The operator can change it before validating the transfer creation.
The operator has to indicate the destination location.
Destination location:
- mandatory field that can be loaded by the system upon an addressing request via the button "Addr"
- enter a destination location.
The "OK" button is used to validate the transfer creation. Depending on the site setup, the system can automatically validate the SO removal and ask the operator if they want to proceed with the repositioning. If they accept, the system will immediately launch the SO repositioning procedure via the "Transfer validation" function. If not, the operator will be returned to the RET menu and will have to manually go in the "Transfer validation" RFT function to perform the repositioning.
The "Addr" button enables the system to propose an optimum destination location. The operator can change it before validating the transfer creation.
Note: In case of SO removal automatic validation upon transfer creation, depending on the site setup, the entry of an operator code may be requested.
The operator cannot see this tab. It is only used for internal processes linked to this function.
