Field help (ASELONG)

Is used to specify the field length, if this latter is not specified on the data type and if the data type allows it (absence of format, local menu, etc.)

The field length can be expressed either in a number of characters (for string values), or in a number of digits with this format: N.M, in which 'N' is the number of digits before the decimal position and 'M' the number of decimals.
