Field help (ATYP)

An account can be one of three types :

• Normal :
  This is a GL account from the chart of accounts in which the entries will be posted.
  
• Total :
  This type of account cannot receive entries. It is used to obtain totals and sub-totals by account root in the reports such as the balance.
  
• Control account:
  This account type is used in the centralisation in the general accounts of an auxiliary accounting. A control account must always be attached to a business partner. The fact of parameterising an account of the type "Control account" defines implicitly an auxiliary accounting in this account.
