Field help (BPSOSTCTL)

These radio buttons provide a means to have our purchasing system shadow the credit control that selected suppliers are exercising upon us, as one of their customers. The benefit of this facility is to minimize the number of cases where we might issue an important PO, but have it blocked on the supplier's system due to a credit problem. It would be preferable to know about the potential problem in advance, so that some action, such as a special payment, would eliminate the block and allow the shipment to be processed.

Three settings are possible: 1) No check at all; 2) prevent all POs from being created; or 3) perform a credit check, and alert the PO user if a credit exception occurs, but allow the PO to be created anyway, if they wish to release it and resolve the potential financial problem independently.
