This parameter defines if a user is likely to switch to Report developer mode. This mode is activated only in the client-server from the Tools menu accessible from the main menu.

If the DEVCRY parameter is set to No, the Report developer option is greyed out and can't be selected.

If this parameter is set to Yes, you can select or unselect this mode. It appears checked or unchecked in the menu.

If this parameter is set to Administrator, a user can modify the Sandbox status defined on a report by another user. This status is displayed in the Status field of the Crystal Reports table in the Reports dictionary function (GESARP).

In this mode, reports are no longer systematically loaded from the server to the client workstation. You can modify and test them in local execution mode before resending them to the server once the modification is done.
