This function is used to compare two costs according to several criteria.

These two fields are used to enter the information relating to the two costs to be compared.
This block is used to enter the start and end selection criteria.
The criteria selected in this field are used to filter the submitted products based on variances (in percentage or amount) between the two costs. For instance, it is possible to only display on the report material variances larger than or equal to 5%
If these fields are left blank, the system will not filter the results and it will display all the information found.
The selected criteria in this field are used to specify whether the cost sub-groups should be displayed or not.

First cost

Enter or select the storage site where the selected product is active. The Selection icon (magnifying glass) only suggests products that are referenced in the products-sites table. |

Second cost

Start - end range
|
The product categories are used to classify and filter the products according to their use. This step makes it possible to refine the selection prior to carrying out the adjustment process. This code is used in the Product record to enable selections. |

Enter the selection start product number. The product ranges limit the report to these products only. |
|
Enter the ending product number for the selection. Product ranges are used to restrict the report to these products only. |

Filter for results within a range of valuation methods. For a single valuation methods, enter the same valuation method code in the From valuation method and To valuation method fields. You can leave the From valuation method field blank to search all valuation methods. |

End range of the valuation methods that must be applied to the products to be selected for the report. |

Filter for results within a range of buyers. For a single buyer, enter the same code in the Start/from buyer and To/end buyer fields. These fields are not available for entry when the Accounting date check box is selected, and the Costing mode is set to Primary issue method or Secondary issue method. |

Enter the ending buyer to select entries to be processed. This option is not available when the Accounting date check box is selected and the Costing mode is Primary issue method or Secondary issue method. |
Code of the product statistical group, comprised of three alphanumerical characters, to be entered for the chosen group. It is associated with a meaningful label. |
