Stock > Internal flows > Pick location replenishment

This function makes it possible to generate the reorder propositions. During the processing, all the "reorder" locations will be covered. Each time that the stock falls below a threshold, a location change proposition will be created as a function of the allocations, the maximum stock and the economic lot.

These propositions can then be used in the reorder plans.

Screen management

Different selections are specified in this screen in order to specify the locations, which must be of the reorder type.

The location movement propositions depends on the stock (the stock considered depends on whether or nor the allocations and shortages are included) and the information found in the location record (threshold, maximum quantity, economic quantity...)
If the stock is below the threshold, there will be a suggestion which quantity will be equal to: Maximum quantity - Stock. The reorder will be a multiple of the economic quantity.

For instance:

Reorder threshold: 30 STK (stocking unit)

Maximum Qty : 120 STK

Reorder PAC (packing unit) Box of 10

Economic Qty: 5 Boxes

For a location stock of 20 STK, the system will create a requirement of 2*5 boxes = 100 STK. The location stock will be 120 STK (= Maximum quantity)

For a location stock of 25 STK, the system will create a requirement for 1*5 boxes = 50 STK. The location stock will be 75 STK (<Maximum quantity).

Setups

Allocation deduction If this flag is ticked, the stock quantities already allocated are deducted. For instance: 3 units in a location where the threshold is 10 and the max. quantity is 30. The 3 units are allocated. If the flag is ticked there will be a proposition for 30 units. If it is not ticked there will be a proposition for 27 units.

Shortage deduction If this flag is ticked, the shortage quantities are deducted from stock. Example: A shortage of 3 units for an empty location that has a threshold of 10 and a maximum quantity of 30. If the flag is ticked there will be a proposition for 33 units. If it is not ticked there will be a proposition for 30 units.

Log file. If this flag is ticked, a log file will be generated at the end of processing.

Location category

At least two of the following flags must be ticked.

Internal. If this is ticked, the processing will check all the internal locations subject to reordering.

Sub-contractor. If this is ticked, the processing will check all the sub-contractor type locations subject to reordering. For these locations, the business partner and the address is recovered in the delivered customer record (uniquely in the case where the location is only assigned to a record).

Additional criteria

Formula. It is possible to specify here a formula to refine the selection of the product and product-site records. This formula will be of the type "Consumption reorder calculation".

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Selection criteria

Enter or select the storage site where the selected product is active.

The Selection icon (magnifying glass) only suggests products that are referenced in the products-sites table.

Parameters

  • Deduct allocations (field ALLFLG)

Tick the box so that the allocations lead to a stock deduction.

  • Shortage analysis (field RUPFLG)

Check the box so that the shortages lead to a stock reduction.

  • Log file (field TRACE)

Select this check box to generate a log file at the end of the run.

Start - end range

  • From warehouse (field WRHSTR)

  • To warehouse (field WRHEND)

  • From location type (field LOCTYPSTR)

  • To location type (field LOCTYPEND)

Type emplacement fin permettant de sélectionner les enregistrements à traiter.

  • From location (field LOCSTR)

Enter from location used to select recordings to be processed.

  • To location (field LOCEND)

Enter to location used to select recordings to be processed.

Enter this field to select a product or a range of products. Specify the reference of the product corresponding to the selection start range.

The end product allowing the selection of the records to be processed.

  • From work center (field WSTSTR)

The initial work centre used to select the records to be processed.

  • To work center (field WSTEND)

The final work centre used to select the records to be processed.

Location category

  • Internal (field INTFLG)

Tick to take into account this location category.

  • Subcontractor (field SCOFLG)

Batch task

This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task CALREO is provided for that purpose.

Menu Bar

The simulation button makes it possible to write to a log file.

This log file is made up of three parts:

Recall the different setups in the calculation screen.

The list of locations processed with the product, the threshold and the stock. If reordering is to be carried out, there will be the detail of the requirement created in STOREO with the packing unit, the quantity, the coefficient and the quantity in stock unit.

The number of records created and deleted in STOREO. If the simulation mode is selected, these values are only indicative.

This button makes it possible to select the setups to be able to recall them more rapidly later.

This button makes it possible to recall a Memo that is already created. In this way the setups that have already been saved can be loaded.

This button makes it possible to delete a Memo.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
