Use this function to choose additional fields to be displayed in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution developed by an ISV (independent software vendor) for work orders at a specific production site.

    Screen management

    The Scheduler custom values function contains a single screen into which you enter a production site and custom fields for displaying in a web scheduler.

    Use this screen to choose additional fields for which you want values to be displayed in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution developed by an ISV (independent software vendor) for work orders at a specific production site.

    You choose the additional fields from a predefined list of fields.

    Fields

    The following fields are present on this tab :

    Block number 1

    Type in or select the production site for which the custom fields are to be displayed.

    General

    • Default (field DEFFLG)

    Select this check box to define the custom fields for this site as the default fields for all sites that do not have custom fields defined.

    • Work order custom field 1 (field WOCUSFLD1)

    Use this field to identify a specific field from the product to be released (BOM) to display in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution developed by an ISV (independent software vendor). Values for the field you select will be displayed in the web scheduler for all work orders being produced at this site.

    The list of fields available for selection is defined in Local menu 3506.

     Local menu 3506 - Scheduler WO fields: Do not amend or delete the existing values in this local menu. It is intrinsically linked to tables that provide the information for the associated field. If your organization requires additional custom fields you can add new codes and messages starting at value 10.

    • Operation custom field 1 (field OPCUSFLD1)

    Use this field to identify a specific work order operation field to display in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution developed by an ISV (independent software vendor). Values for the field you select will be displayed in the web scheduler for all work orders being produced at this site.

    The list of fields available for selection is defined in Local menu 3507.

     Local menu 3507 - Scheduler operation fields: Do not amend or delete the existing values in this local menu. It is intrinsically linked to tables that provide the information for the associated field. If your organization requires additional custom fields you can add new codes and messages starting at value 8.

    • Work order custom field 2 (field WOCUSFLD2)

    Use this field to identify a specific BOM field to display in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution. Values for the selected field will be displayed in the web scheduler for all work orders being produced at this site.

    The list of fields available for selection is defined in Local menu 3506.

     Do not amend or delete values 1-9 in Local menu 3506 - Scheduler WO fields. You can add new codes and messages starting at value 10.

    • Operation custom field 2 (field OPCUSFLD2)

    Use this field to identify a specific operation field to display in Sage X3 Web Scheduling or in any web scheduling solution. Values for the selected field will be displayed in the web scheduler for all work orders being produced at this site.

    The list of fields available for selection is defined in Local menu 3507.

     Do not amend or delete values 1-7 in Local menu 3507 - Scheduler operation fields. You can add new codes and messages starting at value 8.

    Error messages

    In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

    At least one site must be the default site

    You must select the Default check box for one site from the list of production sites that have custom fields defined. This ensures custom fields are displayed in the web scheduler for sites that do not have custom fields defined.

    Both work order custom fields have the same value

    You have duplicated the work order fields. Please select different fields to display in the web scheduler from the available list of released product (BOM) fields.

    Both operation custom fields have the same value

    You have duplicated the work order operation fields. Please select different fields to display in the web scheduler from the available list of work order operation fields.

    Project management not active. Please choose another custom field.

    You have selected to display a project/project task code however Project management (PJM - Project management activity code) is not currently active on your system.
