Synchronization setup

• User (field SYPUSR)

User code to which the setup must apply.

As a reminder, the user must meet certain conditions so that the synchronization with Outlook is successful.

• First, the system identifies whether the user is associated with a sales representative code. The user needs to hold a sales position (AUSCRMA setup, CRM chapter, COL group, defined at user code level) and a sales representative code needs to be entered (AUSCRMF setup, CRM chapter, COL group, defined at user code level).
• Secondly, the user must be the owner of the events created in Sage X3 (Outlook contacts, tasks, calls and appointments) and in Outlook (contacts, tasks and appointments) for the synchronization to be successful.

• Create Outlook contact (field COROTKCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of Outlook contacts.

• Create X3 contact (field CORADXCRE)

An Outlook contact represents a temporary data used to store in Sage X3 the information coming from an Outlook contact. Indeed, an Outlook contact is not necessarily a contact known in the database. It can be later on generated as a contact or it can never be transformed into one. It can also be used within the framework of the creations of CRM activities.

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of Outlook contacts in Sage X3.

• Update Outlook contact (field COROTKUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of Outlook contacts.

• Update X3 contact (field CORADXUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of Outlook contacts in Sage X3 Enterprise.

• Delete Outlook contact (field COROTKDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of Outlook contacts.

• Delete X3 contact (field CORADXDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of Outlook contacts in Sage X3.

• Create Outlook task (field TSKOTKCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of tasks in Outlook.

• Create X3 task (field TSKADXCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of tasks in Sage X3.

• Update Outlook task (field TSKOTKUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of tasks in Outlook.

• Update X3 task (field TSKADXUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of tasks in Sage X3.

• Delete Outlook task (field TSKOTKDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of tasks from Outlook.

• Delete X3 task (field TSKADXDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of tasks in Sage X3.

• Create Outlook call (field CLLOTKCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of calls in the Outlook task workbench.

The original X3 call is also generated in the Outlook task workbench further to the synchronization.

• Update Outlook call (field CLLOTKUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of calls in the Outlook task workbench.

The original X3 call is also deleted from the Outlook task workbench further to the synchronization.

• Update X3 call (field CLLADXUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of calls in Sage X3.

The X3 call is thus updated in the Outlook task workbench and further to the synchronization, it is also modified in Sage X3.

• Delete Outlook call (field CLLOTKDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of calls from the Outlook task workbench.

The original X3 call is also deleted from the Outlook task workbench further to the synchronization.

• Delete X3 call (field CLLADXDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of calls in Sage X3.

The X3 call is thus deleted from the Outlook task workbench and further to the synchronization, it is also deleted from Sage X3.

• Create Outlook appt. (field BAPOTKCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of appointments in Outlook.

• Create X3 appt. (field BAPADXCRE)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of appointments in Sage X3.

• Update Outlook appt. (field BAPOTKUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of appointments in Outlook.

• Update X3 appt. (field BAPADXUPD)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the update of appointments in Sage X3.

• Delete Outlook appt. (field BAPOTKDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the deletion of appointments from Outlook.

• Delete X3 appt. (field BAPADXDLT)

If it is checked, this flag authorizes the creation of appointments in Sage X3.
