Criteria
| Code on five characters identifying the budget entry transaction. |
| Common title of the current record. |
| Enter the maximum number of dimension types that you can enter in this budget transaction. The maximum value authorized is 9 dimension types. |
| The short description replaces the standard description when display or print constraints require it. By default the short title, the long title or the column header of a data are recorded (on creation/update) in the connection language of the user.
A user who logs on with this language will view the short description, long description or column header in their connection language if a translation exists. Otherwise, these descriptions will be available in the folder language.

| Non-compulsory field containing the legislation code (miscellaneous table 909). The entered value is used upon creation and validation of the folder and upon addition of data during legislation copy. The data concerning the requested legislations and the common data (legislation code empty) on folder creation. Only the records concerning the folder legislations are retrieved on folder validation. The Legislation field is also used as a filter and checked upon movement selection and entry (entry of invoices, payments, journals etc.). If the field is empty, the current record can be used whatever the legislation of the company concerned by the movement. |
| This field is used to allow access to the transaction to a limited group of companies. |
| Transaction category. The budgetary entry can be carried out by period, by account or by dimension.

| Flag used to activate the budget entry transaction. |
| The pre-loading box is only of any use if the transaction is by account or by dimension.

| Information type contained in the column:

| This field is accessible if the column is of the formula type. It contains the calculation formula. The result of the formula evaluation will be displayed in the column. To pick up in a formula the result of a column, it is necessary to enter C followed by the column number. For instance:

| The budgetary entry being multi-budget, it is possible to have several numbers, with each number identifying a budget. All the columns that have the same number are linked to the same budget. This number makes a link with the entry of the various budget codes in the budgetary entry. For instance: to enter/view two budgets at once with the the following information:
The first three columns are related to the first budget, the following three columns are related to the second budget. In the transaction setup, a line number set to "1" will be entered to characterize the first budget, and a line number set to "2" will be entered to characterize the second budget. |
| It indicates whether the column must be added up at the bottom of the screen. |
| The column can be visible or hidden on the screen. It is hidden if the information it contains is only used to calculate intermediary data used in other formulas. |

Validating the transaction generates the set up screens. The name of the screen becomes WMBUD+transaction code. |
This button is used to copy the setup of the transaction to other folders. |
