Gantt diagram 

Index

The Gantt diagram is a project tracking tool used in X3, namely in manufacturing management.
It provides a graphical representation of the scheduling and planning in time of the different tasks and operations necessary for a project to succeed.

• The tasks are displayed on the ordinate.
• The duration (month, day, week) is displayed on the abscissa.
• Each task is illustrated by an horizontal bar which length is proportional to its duration.
• The MiniPad gives an overview of the part of the graph being viewed.

Thanks to this MiniPad, it is possible to move in the graph and to zoom in on the duration of a specific task or on a given hour or day range.

Notes:

• When the cursor hovers over a task, a short record is displayed with the nature of the task, the start and end day and hour and its duration. 
• This graph can only be accessed in viewing mode; it does not allow the creation or modification of operations.
• The grid that contains the diagram data is similarly displayed in the same place as the graph.
  Going from one mode to the other is done by clicking on the following icon:   in client server mode, or  in web mode. It is located on the upper left corner of the diagram.
