This is the category associated with the supplier.
A supplier category makes it possible to:

• have an additional supplier classification,
• have default values upon creation,
• assign an automatic numbering to the suppliers according to a counter associated with the supplier category.
  

  
  

A supplier category can also be associated with aBP, since BPs can become suppliers at a later stage.
