If the TRACE variable is set to 1, it means that a log file is open. If TRACE is set to 0, there is no open log file.
The entry point is set just before the standard control is performed on a matched entry, which is used to check that the event date stored in the open item historization table HISTODUD ([F:HDU]DATEVT) is equal to the maximum date of the matching group entries.
The control is applied provided that the local variable CTL_EVTDAT equals 1.
The local variable [L]CTL_EVTDAT is available. By default, this variable is initialized to 1 before the call to the CTLEVTDAT entry point.
If this variable becomes specific, the control and resynchronization of the event date will not be carried out.
