General parameters > Chapter Payroll plan-X3P > Parameter DDPAPR (Payment M+1 connection period)

The DDPAPR - Payment M+1 connection period parameter is used to indicate if the salaries are paid by the company the month following the worked month even if the payroll shift rules are not applied (‘Yes’ value). It can be useful for small companies paying salaries the month following the worked month but without applying all the shift payroll rules.

The DMA - Last month of the year parameter is used to indicate the last month of the year:

  • If the last month of the year is November, the value is ‘11’ and the shift payroll principle is applied.
  • If the last month of the year is December, the value is ‘12’ and the shift payroll principle is applied.

These pieces of information are used in the DSN to know the connection dates in the individual contribution declaration.

Depending on the values of those two parameters, the connection date management is the following:

  • If the DDPAPR parameter is set to 'Yes’ and if the DMA parameter is set to '11', then the shift payroll rules are applied.
  • If the DDPAPR parameter is set to 'Yes’ and the DMA parameter is set to '12', then the data extraction is performed for the M month, the salaries are paid on the M+1 month (but it is not a payroll shift), and the standard rules for the contributions are applied.

For example:

The pay period is from 01/01/2017 to 31/01/2017.
The DDPAR parameter is set to 'Yes' and the last month of the year is December.
The salaries are paid in February but the connection period corresponds to the dates of the pay period (from 01/01/2017 to 31/01/2017).
