The user page
The HOMEPAGE setup is used to define which page will be presented to the user in the software screen just after connection. The user has 250 characters at their disposal to define the connection page.
The following syntax can be used.
SYNTAX | Explanation |
Local :html_page_name | A page declared on the application server is used in the X3_PUB directory associated with the Adonix solution. It is the http server publishing this directory that will return the browser page (in Web mode) or the browser libraries included on the client workstation (in client-server). In this way, there is the possibility to define pages that are common to all the users of a solution. |
All other syntax | If another syntax is given, it is sent to the server like any URL (it could be for example http://www.sage.com). |
Other than the homepage, it should be noted that the client workstation (whether it is a Windows client or the Web browser) can also lead to the display of a portal page (if this option is used). This page is defined by the PTLPAGE setup.
Level of localization / Global variable
This parameter is defined at the level User.It belongs to Chapter SUP (Supervisor) and the Group APL (Portal),The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :
- ACONVONLY (Generate links of standard pages)
- NEWPORT (Interactive dashboard)
- PTLPAGE (Dashboard home page)
No global variable is associated with it.
