Version 6 legacy password modification

This function allows you to change the V6 legacy password associated with a current user.

V6 passwords have been replaced by V7 authentication. However,for some V6 legacy functions, using the passwords associated to the X3 users remains necessary. This is notably the case for:

• Accessing the table maintenance when the parameter ASIGMNT is set to True.
• Accessing the ERP through the legacy web services server.
• Accessing through the ADC/telnet terminals.

Parameters to be entered

The previous password and the new password have to be entered.

The function behaves as follows:

• If the parameter PASSWD is set to Yes, the password is mandatory.
• If the parameter CHGPAS is set to a value other than 0, the duration of the password is limited to the corresponding number of days.
• If the parameter PASLNG is set to a value other than 0, the length of the password must be at least equal to the number of characters given.
